What is Whole Body Cryotherapy?
Using cold temperatures to promote natural healing and wellness, cryotherapy is a fast and effective alternative to traditional ice baths. The cryotherapy chamber fills with nitrogen vapor and a dry chill that drops the ambient temperature to a range of -90 Celsius (-130ºF) to -120 Celsius (-184ºF). The cold stimulus activates physiological processes in the body. Viruses are combated, blood circulation is stimulated and both your immune system and metabolism get a boost.
What are the benefits of cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy has been used to treat a variety of issues such as tissue damage (it's excellent for athletes), decrease inflammation, increase cell rejuvenation, improve skin tone and reduce signs of aging. Preliminary studies suggest that cryotherapy may offer the following benefits:
-
Pain relief and muscle healing
-
Weight Loss
-
Reduced inflammation
-
Preventing dementia
-
Preventing and treating cancer
-
Reducing anxiety and depression
-
Improving symptoms of eczema
-
Treating Migraine Headaches
Is cryotherapy safe?
Cryotherapy has been safely used for over 30 years. Always follow instructions when undergoing the therapy: make sure you are completely dry when you step into the chamber (no wet socks or clothing), and cover sensitive body parts (gloves, and socks and slippers).
Ensure no metallic clothing parts touch your skin. Do not wear any jewelry or piercings during the treatment (rings, necklaces, bracelets or anklets). Also, pay close attention to contraindications (see below).
What do you wear during cryotherapy?
We provide dry socks, slippers, gloves and robes. Men must wear dry work-out shorts or underwear and women, dry sports bra and shorts, or a bathing suit.
How often can I do cryotherapy?
Just like exercise, regular cryotherapy sessions are important to keep inflammation reduced. Without consistency, inflammation will continue to grow and increase in the body.
It can also be a good idea to “jump-start” your cryotherapy recovery program with an initial two weeks of treatments 5-7 times a week. This can help to immediately cleanse the body of inflammation before keeping up with the recommended amount of maintenance each week.
How does cryotherapy help with weight loss?
Cryotherapy can speed up weight loss. During a cryotherapy session your body goes into survival mode when exposed to the brutal cold; this supercharges your metabolic rate and torches about 800 calories in the process.
Is there anyone who should avoid using cryotherapy?
There are situations where you one should not use cryotherapy. Contraindications include:
-
Pregnancy

What is a Float Therapy?
Flotation Therapy is essentially a way of achieving deep relaxation by spending an hour or more lying quietly in darkness, suspended in a warm solution of Epsom salt.Float tanks are also known as isolation tanks, sensory deprivation tanks & REST (Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy) chambers.
Why Should I Float?
Floating has been used for a variety of reasons, both anecdotal and scientifically backed:
-
Stress reduction.
-
Anxiety relief.
-
Sports recovery.
-
Pain relief.
-
To promote relaxation.
-
Reduce headaches.
-
Increased circulation.
-
For more restful sleep.
Are Float Tanks sanitary?
-
The interior of a float tank is exceptionally sanitary. Each tank has up to 1,500 pounds of Epsom salt dissolved in the water, which raises the salinity to levels that are inhospitable to bacteria, including microbes and other pathogens.
-
In addition, our float tanks come equipped with several features to maintain hygiene of the water. The main filter device is a stainless steel enclosure holding a 10 micron filter bag, capable of filtering debris in the water as small as 1/4 the size of the diameter of a human hair. Water is also continuously pumped by a UV light array, taking care of any micro-organisms that survives the extreme salt content of the water. Our float tanks also feature a dual chemical injection system, allowing for use of chemical disinfectants.

How Often Can I Float?
While you can float every day without harm, we find that the relaxing effects of a one-hour float typically last beyond that day. For best results, we recommend regular sessions, and many clients find that floating once or twice a week provides the most benefits. -
Is There a Weight Limit?
No, other than the actual size of the tank itself, which is 8 feet by 4 feet. 6′ 10″ clients weighing over 350 pounds have floated comfortably.
